Around two years after the launch of its last new car model, Hindustan Motors (HM) has launched the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV in India at Rs 23.53 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The four-wheel drive off roader is powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine putting out 178 PS of power. In terms of price, it competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavor, Chevrolet Captiva, Hyundai Santa Fe and the smaller BMW X1.
Kolkata-based HM assembles and markets Mitsubishi car models such as the Lancer, Cedia and Outlander in India.
