Desert Festival to Begin in Jaisalmer From Feb. 5–7

The two-day desert festival will begin from Feb. 5–7, 2012 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The state tourism department has organized this event in the midst of dunes and setting sun across the horizon to hear the traditional beats of Rajasthani music.

Besides this, traditional folk artists will also greet you in the fair. The major attraction will be ceremonial procession, camel polo and camel race, camel decoration, mustache competition and cultural performances by folk and other artists.
