Adele Wins Six Grammy Awards

British singer Adele made a clean sweep by winning all six Grammy awards for which she was nominated, including top honors like album of the year, record of the year and song of the year, at the 54th edition of the prestigious ceremony in Los Angeles on Feb. 12, 2012.

The 23-year-old's song "Rolling in the deep" and album "21" helped her win big at the Grammy awards this year, telecast worldwide on Feb. 12.
The track "Rolling in the deep" won her trophies for the record of the year, song of the year and short form music video. The album "21" brought her honors in categories, including album of the year and best pop vocal album; she also won the best pop solo performance for her song "Someone Like You" from the same album.

Apart from receiving awards, Adele took to stage for her first live performance ever since her vocal cord surgery in November 2011. She entertained the audience at the Staples Centre with a rendition of the chart-topping number "Rolling in the deep."
