Pune Film Festival to Honor Big B, Asha Bhosle

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan will be honored at the 10th Pune International Film Festival to be held in Pune from Jan 12–19, 2012.

The list of those being honored includes legendary singer Asha Bhosle and actor Sachin Pilgaonkar. While Asha will be awarded for her invaluable contribution to the Indian cinema, Sachin will receive the honor for completing 50 years in the Indian film industry.

As many as 250 films will be screened on 10 screens across the city during the festival.
