German Luxury auto major Mercedes-Benz and India’s Jaypee Sports International launched a performance driving academy at the Buddh International Circuit race track in Greater Noida, suburb of New Delhi. The 5.14-km circuit has been designed by German architect and racetrack expert Hermann Tilke.
The JPSI-AMG academy is offering a "basic" course that will teach learners how to drive a sports car. AMG is the premium race car of Mercedes-Benz.
The course fee for Mercedes customers is Rs 50,000 per person. For others, it is Rs 75,000 per person.
The academy, set up in partnership with Mercedes-Benz, is the fourth such facility by the German automaker after the ones in the US, Germany and China.
