IIM Lucknow’s Manfest 2012 Kicks off

The 25th edition of Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Lucknow’s Annual Business Conclave, Manfest 2012, will be held on the institute’s campus from January 20–22, 2012.

This Manfest is based on the theme “Innovate, Implement and Inspire: Build a Legacy” and aims to explore businesses, leaders and ideas that have persevered and prospered to build a legacy.

Students will get the opportunity to engage with industry leaders through panel discussions, guest lectures, corporate luncheons and personal interactions. To recognize social entrepreneurship, students will be awarded the Prerna Social Entrepreneurship Awards.

ONGC Yajna, Pan-India CSR Challenge: A competition will involve NGOs from 8 Indian cities, while this year’s marathon, 10k, partnered by Moods and UNICEF, promotes the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Manfest 2012 will also offer entertainment, with Indian classical and international music concerts, popular Bollywood concert and stand-up comedy acts apart from student performances.

Title Partner this year is the TATA Group, also sponsoring a flagship management event called TAS Zeus that will offer a prestigious TAS shortlist to the winners aside from whopping prize money of Rs 1 Lakh.

The event will be judged by Magsaysay Award winner and founder of Asha for Education, Dr. Sandeep Pandey and Ms. Meenaxi Gupta, founder of Goonj, India.
