National carrier Air India will operate two extra flights from Delhi to Srinagar following flights being cancelled to Srinagar due to continuous snow fall.
Bad weather resulted in cancellation of the flag carrier's two-scheduled operations to Srinagar. The airline operates two-scheduled flights from the national capital to Srinagar daily.
Life across Kashmir was hit for the second consecutive day on Monday, Jan. 16 as moderate to heavy snowfall continued, cutting off the valley from the rest of the country. No civilian flights could operate from Srinagar International airport from Jan. 15 because of bad weather.
