Rajasthani Food Festival Kicks off in Delhi

Savor the authentic Rajasthani delights in Delhi during the ongoing Rajasthani food festival for just Rs 1600 per person (exclusive of taxes). The festival has been organized at Edesia, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Okhla Phase-1, New Delhi. It will be open for public from 12.30 pm to 11 pm.

The food festival kicked off on Dec. 3, 2011 and it will conclude on Dec. 18, 2011. The two week long festival will feature Maharaj Devraj from Jodhpur Gharana, who will showcase over 100 dishes with an eclectic array of culinary delights from royal kitchens and influences of Mughals and Rajputs.

The festival will feature some of the most unique and delicious food items like Dal Bhati, Churma, Shorbas, Rajasthani Bhindi, Bharwan Gatte ki Curry, Laal Maas, Bataer Rassedaar, Moong Dal Mogar and many more.

The lunch and dinner buffet will be complemented with a colorful ambience which include a 10 feet high poster of Hawa Mahal, Puppet theater, puppets hung all over as props, traditional balanced utensils on display and dancers from Rajasthan.
