Kannada Culture Fest in Pune From Dec. 2–3

The two-day Kannada Culture Festival has been organized at Kannada Sangha, Ganesh Nagar, Kothrud, Pune from Dec. 2–3, 2011.

The festival is organized every year in different cities in India, and this time Pune has been chosen as a destination. An array of events has been planned for the two days. The festival will showcase Kannada songs, light Kanada music, dance drama, Hindustani and Karnataka music, Mahila Yakshagana and Kanada folk dance.

Apart from the cultural events, the festival will also be conducting seminars on Kannada Marathi Samskrutika Kolu Koduge (Cultural exchange in Karnataka-Maharashtra) and Horanadinalli Samskrutika Bhandhavya (Cultural Harmony outside Karnataka).
