Disney to Release 'The Avengers' in 3D on May 4

The Walt Disney has announced that its upcoming project "The Avengers" will be released in 3-D alongside its originally planned 2-D version.

The Avengers, which is the first Marvel project to be marketed and distributed completely by Disney, will be released on May 4, 2012.

The film starring Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth, has been directed by Joss Whedon.
