Delhi's Coldest Christmas in Five Years

Delhi recorded its coldest day in five years on Christmas with the minimum temperature Dec. 25, 2011 dropping to 2.9 degrees, five notches below average.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) office, the day will be clear and sunny. Humidity swung between a high and low of 93 and 33 percent. The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 20 degrees.

On Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 20 and 3.3 degrees respectively.
