In recognition of World AIDS Day 2011, South Carolina’s Coastal Carolina University will host an HIV Awareness Event on Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 pm at the Wall Auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public. Door prizes will be handed out, and light refreshments will be served. While the event is free, donations for Careteam Inc.—a local nonprofit organization dedicated to HIV prevention—will be accepted.
