Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and yesteryear actress Sharmila Tagore are set to make special guest appearance on the 17th Kolkata Film Festival (KFF). Bengali film actor Koel Mullick will be the 'thali girl' at the inaugural program.
The 17th Kolkata Film Festival will begin in Kolkata on November 10 and the festival will continue till November 17. Reports suggest that 21 orphan children will perform a musical program at the inaugural function.
Kolkata Film Festival is the 2nd oldest International film festival in India. The festival is organized by West Bengal Film Centre under the West Bengal Government. Commemorating the glorious heritage of the Film Society movement, the Government created Nandan the West Bengal Film Centre in 1985.
