Kansas Organizes Charity Event for Kids on Nov. 12

The Country Club Plaza will be holding a free event called Be Kind to Kansas City Kids on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 10 am to 2 pm.

The club will be accepting public donations of unused school supplies, electronic games and sporting equipment for the kids.

The Be Kind People Project bus will be parked near Penguin Court at Nichols Road and Pennsylvania, across from Brio, to accept your donations, which will be distributed to Kansas City schools and community centers to help keep students engaged in fun and constructive activities.

Students can also board the bus to sign an “I’m a Be Kind Kid” pledge. Please join your neighbors in taking positive action to help support our children and our community.
