Malaysia’s Labuan, after being recognized as an oil and gas hub, is going to host the biggest oil and gas expo from Nov. 2–4, 2011. The expo at the Labuan Financial Park convention hall is expected to accommodate more than 5,000 visitors.
The inaugural three-day expo is sponsored by Labuan Shipyard Engineering Sdn Bhd (LSE), which will see 160 foreign and local participants.
Among the participating countries are Britain, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, the United States and host Malaysia.
Admission to the expo is open only to the trade visitors and educational institutions. Visitors can pre-register online at www.aseanoilgas.com .
