Canada Organizes Pink Ribbon Event in Support of Breast Cancer Fund

Hundreds of people are expected to cram into Club Castropignano in Thorold, Canada this Friday, Oct. 21, for the fourth annual Pink Ribbon Event dinner and fundraising show in support of the St. Catharines-based Breast Cancer Research and Education (BCRE) Fund.

The evening will also include a silent auction and a dinner with pasta and meatballs, quarter chicken, potatoes, local vegetables, salad, dessert, coffee and tea. Tickets are $30 and include door prizes and penny sale.

The doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m.

Club Castropignano is located at 1311 Egerter Rd. in Thorold.

The Pink Ribbon event continues to grow each year. Last year’s event drew 450 people and raised $11,000.
