Battle-of-the-Bands Competition to Kick-Off from August 17 in Jaipur

Battle-of-the-Bands, the competition where emerging Indian bands are given a platform to showcase their talents, is scheduled to take place from August 17 to August 19, 2012 in Jaipur.

The competition renamed as Quarantine The Contagion – Battle Ground – Jaipur (that really is the full name!!!) will be headlined by New Delhi metal band Artillerie. The winning band will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000. The contest will take place over three days with the prelims taking place on August 17, the semi-final taking place on August 18 and the grand finale on August 19.

Bands who are interested in taking part can do so by sending in their bio as well as audio and video tracks or links to quarantinethecontagion@gmail.com. The last date to register for the competition is August 1.
