Chelsea’s Mikel Quits Twitter After Racist Abuse

Chelsea’s midfielder John Obi Mikel has quit social network site Twitter after getting abuses and hate comments.

The 25-year-old Nigerian had needlessly given the ball away 10 minutes from time leading to Juventus scoring the equalizing goal in Chelsea's Champions League 2-2 drawn match on Sept 20, 2012.

Mikel joined Chelsea from Norwegian club Lyn Oslo in 2006 for £16 million.
